Research Essence Notes

This information about 44 of my research essences was given to me by Cathy Williamson who worked with me for part of one growing season. She is a wonderful and gifted woman who has a lot to offer the world. She graciously wrote out this information about the essences. She spent time with each essence to get a "feel" for it and wrote down these brief notes.

Please feel welcome to order any of these essences from me and do write back to add any information you have about the essences so that we can round out each profile.

Azalea - Balances brain function and the 6th and 7th chakras. Helpful for eye problems. I LIKE this essence! Clears the secondary chakras of the head. (Kathrin¹s note: I¹ve had other people who told me that they weren¹t sure why but their lives seemed to just run more smoothly when they used this essence each day.)

Baptisia - All I know right now is that this is a starseed essence and the plant signature, I believe, is not of this dimension/galaxy. I¹m growing some this summer because I was so intrigued with this plant.

Bedstraw - Works with 2nd and 3rd chakras. Releases toxins related to the digestive system and it¹s organs. Bellwort - Centering. Focus. Works through the heart chakra and 2nd chakra. Balances emotions and I AM channel/column.

Black Hollyhock - Content and safety within or in union with "the void". Also for introspection and rest. To treat exhaustion.

Blazing Star - Enhances psychic abilities and other talents. Allows the ego voice to step aside so natural talents/gifts and abilities can come through.

Helps people who over analyze, over worry and are caught up in ego to simply allow divinity to be within them.

Centaurea montana - Replaces hard feelings and irresponsibility and negativity with understanding and also clears those feelings. Works similarly to Feverfew. Useful for adolescents (especially male), clears repressed/suppressed/buried emotions. Useful for heart and circulatory problems and stresses related to this. ex: lack of forgiveness.

Crabapple - Helps one to move past judgements and negativity and criticism of others and self. Heals from the place of knowing that this behavior is a reflection of one¹s attitude toward one¹s self and works to repair these beliefs.

Dark Pink Hollyhock - Brings lightness and expansiveness to being. Bubbly like champagne. Connected to fairy realm, this hollyhock is the one most suited to children. Lifts depression. Use for someone with many life sorrows to help them break through the woundedness and hurt.

Feverfew - Releases repressed/stuffed emotions and viewpoints and unwinds the energetic blocks around these. Also unwinds mental confusion and headaches related to such.

Globe Thistle - Giving and Receiving with a sense of contraction/boundaries.

Green Nicotiana - Connection to the Earth, specifically connected to the Earth and her healing properties. Italian Alkanet - Aligns one with the "mystery schools teachings". Initiation.

Lemon Lily - Acceptance of one¹s femininity, nurturing energies and the Goddess Stream within one¹s self. Lotus - What doesn¹t this essence treat? It does it all. It anchors the higher energies and energies related to the upper (above 7th) chakras into the body. Strengthens other remedies in combination.

Lotus (like yarrow is a master protector) Also helps to quicken one¹s vibratory rate and is useful as an evolutionary(enlightenment) tool.

Lupin - yellow and peach - Acceptance and self-esteem around femininity. Brings joy into the 3rd chakra. useful for digestive and abdominal problems. Helps release tears and replace with new hope and joy.

Morning Glory - Helps take the nervous jittery feeling energy/anxiety and transform it into a smoother stream. Helps with tremulousness, nervous habits, and also assist one in opening to their experiences. (Kathrin's note: Has also been used to treat addictive habits by some practitioners.)

Motherwort - For knowing and realizing the fullness and power of femininity and the great Mother. (Kathrin¹s note: Can be used where there is hardness of any type. When there hasn¹t been enough safety to allow softness of being. David Dalton of Delta Gardens first told me about this use of this plant.)

Nettle-male and female flowers - Ideal when the male and female flowers are combined to make one essence. his essence feels quite different from the herb. In essence form it feels like mother and father energies respectively. Useful for issues of parents and family; brings warmth to heart and lungs.

Okra - Releases terror, panic and fear from all chakras. (strongest on lower 4 chakras)

Useful for headaches, toothaches, throat disorders (very good for this), and respiratory disorders. Re-aligns cranial plates, strengthens power of choice and telepathic sensitivity/ability. Helpful for speech problems -especially with children.

Kathrin¹s notes on Snapdragons: I also use this for any tension held in the jaw and mouth.
